I've had the pleasure of working with so many fun and cool people over the years there's too much to mention.

From Wall Street days to consulting and investment work it's been a totally kicking ride, I'm very appreciative and thankful to everyone. THANK YOU!

There were so many interesting, challenging and fun 24x7.com projects I can't list everything here, however in the adjacent column to the left I've posted a few quick links to spare you from reading my stroll down memory lane, below.

I will not bore you with PE, corporate work and such, I'm sure you get enough of these sorts of stories elsewhere. I may bore you anyway though, that's always a risk when I have a keyboard in front of me and a few spare minutes to write.

So I will talk about a few of my media projects, that's got to be a heck of a lot more interesting to most than finance or economics. I like it all, but that's me. Here goes...

Filming with Genesis P-Orridge and Lady Jaye is like nothing else. We taped in Greenwich Village, our guests were in great form and we had a wonderful time. The audio crew was great too and the audio tracks (thanks Karen!) really show it.

We released a podcast with bits from a shoot we did with Woz and Captain Crunch. You probably know the history of the relationship and blueboxing, if not please feel free to download the mp3 podcast and have a listen. Below are a few stills from the iCollaborated shoot.

In San Francisco we did a shoot over breakfast with Brad Templeton and Jerry Michalski. We posted an audio podcast, they covered a lot of ground. We released the podcast under a Creative Commons License.

There were other shoots and projects, and I have to say we had great teams show up for all of them, some of course more outstanding than others but that's completely normal. Again, a special thanks to everyone who participated in the shoots, on both sides of the cameras and microphones.

Enough shameless self promotion and promotion for the iCollaborated project. I will save you from having to read about the less glam projects, the ones not related to media projects. I spend most of my time doing the fly-to-some-place for a meeting or three then fly some place else for more meetings.

I've never been very keen on flying. And the commercial flights these days are so bad I try to avoid them as much as possible.

So now trying to fly less and do fewer meetings is my goal. I'm sure Continental, Delta and the rest of the commuter flight carriers will not miss my business :)  and all the TSA agents grabbing for my specially marked "sssss" boarding passes because I always buy my tickets last minute or change plans at short notice with one-way tickets -- you would think TSA would figure out how to not give business travellers a hard time but I guess they have other things to worry about. If I could only afford something  with the range of ~10,000 km (heh, maybe 6,000 km would suffice)   :-o

I will still end up on way too many commercial flights for my liking for my finance and other projects. Geez I wish I was smarter. If you have any clues for me re how I can ease into an easier life style please feel free to write.

Between spending more time at home, getting on my bike more and the re-development of 24x7 I'm hoping to balance my schedule a bit better. But then again, I really do love my non 24x7 finance and development projects and will continue to pursue those while I work out this schedule thing. Wish me luck. Thanks.
